Veronica Corpuz has taught creative writing at Naropa University (Boulder, CO) and Chatham College (Pittsburgh, PA) and has served as a guest poet and instructor at the Kelly Writers House at the University of Pennsylvania and New York University. Her poetry has appeared in Chain, Shiny, Aufgabe, Interlope, and the anthology Cities of Chance: Experimental Poetry from Brazil and the United States. She co-authored, with Naka Pierce, a collection of experimental poems entitled TRI/VIA. Veronica is a graduate of Brown University’s Creative Writing Program and has an MFA in Creative Writing. Veronica is the Director of the 2013 Three Rivers Art Festival. She currently lives in Pittsburgh with her son, Nico, where she is completing a memoir based on the sudden illness of her late husband, Michael Grzymkowski, and how she transformed the grief of loss into hope and joy.
